Location
The small vacation villa stands near Bibbona and just a few kilometers from Marina di Bibbona (Livorno), in the region called Etruscan Coast.
The Etruscan Coast is an area rich in Etruscan settlements - hence the name - that stretches along the Tyrrhenian Sea in central Tuscany, and includes the whole province of Livorno.
This area of Tuscany particularly rich in natural parks (among which are the Park of Livorno Hills, the maquis of Magona and Bolgheri WWF Oasis) and in archaeological sites. Famous are also its beaches and its clear seawater: apart from hosting an important archaeological park, Baratti is an excellent place for scuba diving.
A stay at the villa may also offer a great occasion to taste the many DOC wines produced in the area, including the celebrated Sassicaia and Ornellaia.
Description
The building commanding Bibbona countryside was a barn that has been renovated and transformed into a small vacation villa furnished in a simple and comfortable style.
Around the building stretches a fully fenced garden in which are the barbecue equipment, the private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 1.40 m) and a table for guests to have their meals in the open air.
Several towns a few kilometers from the villa, including Populonia and Baratti, Bolgheri and Castagneto Carducci, are still relatively unknown to mass tourism but are nevertheless worth a visit. Livorno, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Florence and many other Tuscan cities of art are within easy driving distance.
Accommodation
The small villa is a one-story building consisting of living room with fireplace, kitchenette, dining area, double sofa and direct access to a loggia furnished with outdoor furniture, a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
