Location

The villa stands between Talamone and Porto Ercole (Grosseto), in Maremma, the region in southern Tuscany renowned all over the world for its spellbinding beaches and wild nature.

The area is rich in nature parks and reserves, and one of the most charming things to see is the so-called Giardino dei Tarocchi (in Capalbio): a wonderful park scattered with charming statues representing the tarot's Major Arcana.

Maremma is also synonym with good cuisine (wild-boar dishes are delicious), excellent wines (Morellino di Scansano and Bianco di Pitigliano are produced in this part of Tuscany) and health and well-being, thanks to the famous Saturnia thermal baths.


Description

The elegant villa is just 5 kilometers from the sea and from some of the most beautiful beaches of Maremma.
Cultivated fields and vineyards stretch around the estate as far as the eye can see.
A riding stable and a tennis club are a few kilometers from the property, whereas the natural oases of WWF and of Orbetello Lagoon are within short driving distance.

The wide park that surrounds the elegant building is fully fenced and equipped for having meals in the open air.
The private swimming pool (14.50x5 m; depth: 1.40 m) is surrounded by a wide fenced solarium area.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-story building consisting of entry gallery, kitchen, dining room, home office, three living room, seven double bedrooms with private bathroom with bathtub and shower (two on the ground floor and five on the first floor), laundry room and a half bathroom.

Two bedrooms can be converted into twin bedrooms upon request.
Three single beds for children up to 16 years of age are supplied upon request.


Facilities and Services

The villa is equipped with fireplace, gas cooker, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge, freezer, American-style coffee maker, espresso coffee maker, ice maker, food processor, tumble dryer, clothes-horse, ironing equipment, courtesy kit and private car parking space.
A complimentary bottle of Italian spumante is offered at arrival.
A domestic help, a cook and a breakfast are supplied upon request.
Short one-day guided tours to some of the most important Tuscan outlet villages and wineries, as well as guided tours of the Chianti region (by Vespa, by bicycle and by vintage car), Val d'Orcia and Maremma (on horseback), by helicopter, by hot balloon and by boat along the coast from Versilia to Maremma are organized upon request.

Shops and services of any kind are 3 kilometers from the villa.
A tennis club is 3 kilometers from the property.
A riding stable is 5 kilometers from the estate.
