Location
The villa is located in the province of Grosseto, in Tuscan Maremma, in front of Orbetello Lagoon. The lagoon, which is separated from the Tyrrhenian Sea by two long strips of land and Argentario promontory, is rich in high-value fish species, and the area is renowned for the production of mullet botargo.
Several natural protected areas have been established to preserve the fragile ecosystem, the most important being the nature reserves Laguna di Orbetello and Laguna di Orbetello di Ponente.
The lagoon is a humid area in which nest the black-winged stilt, the greater flamingo, the great white egret, the great cormorant, the osprey and various species of ducks.

The villa is the ideal accommodation for nature lovers, who can visit the protected natural areas established in Orbetello Lagoon.
Staying at the villa guests will also have the opportunity to watch the dolphins and whales that live in the Whale Sanctuary.
History, art and culture lovers can visit the many fortresses the Spaniards built in Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano from the middle of the 16th century.
The wonderful beach of Feniglia is 500 meters from the villa and is reached on foot and by bike; in summer a shuttle service connects the villa to the sea (the shuttle stop is 100 meters from the property). A golf club and a riding stable are close to the villa, whereas some thermal baths are about 20 kilometers of the estate.
The three buildings that compose the complex are surrounded by a garden furnished for having meals in the open air, in which are also a small whirlpool pool, the barbecue equipment, a private tennis court and some mines dating from the late 19th century. One of them has been transformed into a wine cellar, whereas the other contains a sauna.

The annexed cottage consists of a double bedroom, a living room with a double sofa bed and a bathroom.
The third building features an outdoor kitchenette, a living room with a double and a single sofa bed and a bathroom.
