Location
The farmhouse is in Lappato, a village in the municipality of Capannori, in the countryside between Lucca and Montecatini Terme.
Capannori is one of the largest municipalities in the province of Lucca, and in the early 20th century it was the most populous rural municipality in Italy. Its territory is scattered with luxurious villas surrounded by enormous parks, once the countryside residences of Lucca aristocratic families. The most famous are Villa Torrigiani in Camigliano, the Villa Reale in Marlia - which owes its name to the fact that Elisa Baiocchi, one of Napoleon's sisters and Queen of Etruria, bought it in 1806 ("reale" is the Italian word for royal) - and Villa Mansi, which stands in Segromigno in Monte.
A protected natural area called Bosco del Bottaccio della Visona was created in 1997 in the municipality of Capannori to preserve the flora and fauna of one of the few humid areas in north-western Tuscany.
Description
The farmhouse is a stone building surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
The private swimming pool (8.40x4.90 m); depth: 1.20 m) equipped with sun loungers, chairs and sunshades is in the garden, as well as a shower with warm water, a wooden dressing room, a gazebo furnished with a table and some chairs, a large table for having meals in the open air, a table-tennis table and some children's toys.
The ideal accommodation for those who dream of relaxing vacations in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, the farmhouse is also an excellent departure point for visiting Lucca and its monuments or for spending a pleasant day on the beaches of Versilia. Pisa, Florence, Siena, the charming villages in Garfagnana and many other Tuscan tourist destinations are within easy driving distance.
A riding stable, a tennis club and thermal baths are a few kilometers from the farmhouse.

The farmhouse is a two-story building composed of kitchen, living room with a double sofa bed, two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower, a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and a fourth bathroom with shower.

The farmhouse comes with barbecue equipment, DVD player, table-tennis table, children's toys, oven, microwave oven and private car parking space.
A baby sitter is available upon request.
