Location

The elegant villa is a few kilometers from Lucca, the Tuscan town that, due to its many worship buildings, is also renowned as the "town of the hundred churches".

Its 16th-century walls - a four-kilometer walkway overlooking the whole town - embrace such wonderful jewels as the Cathedral of San Martino, which houses the funerary monument to Ilaria del Carretto by Jacopo della Quercia and other famous masterpieces, the Basilica of San Frediano and the Guinigi tower.

In summer Lucca hosts the Lucca Summer Festival, with concerts in the most beautiful squares of the town, whereas in fall Lucca Comics & Games attracts thousands of comics lovers.


Description

The beautiful villa is an excellent departure point for visiting the nearby town of Montecarlo, Collodi and its park dedicated to Pinocchio, Montecatini Terme thermal baths and many Tuscan cities of art, including Lucca, Florence and Pisa. The villages of Lunigiana and Garfagnana are within easy driving distance, as well.

The villa is surrounded by a wide garden with the private swimming pool (18x6 m; depth: 1.20-1.50 m).
A large paved space in front of the house is equipped for dining al fresco.
A table-tennis table and the barbecue equipment are at guests' disposal.

The villa is a two-story building consisting of kitchen, living room with dining area, seven double bedrooms with private bathroom (two with a small-double sofa bed and one with a single sofa bed) and a half bathroom with a double washbasin and the washing machine.

The villa is equipped with barbecue, table-tennis table, oven, microwave oven, freezer, American-style coffee maker and private car parking space.
A domestic help is available upon request.
