The elegant villa (8+2 sleeping accommodations) dates back to the early 19th century and stands close to the centre of Bagni di Lucca, a charming village in Garfagnana, renowned from the 13th century for the extraordinary curative properties of its thermal waters. In fact, the thermal establishments are just a kilometre from the villa and are easily reached with a walk in nature. Alternatively, guests can make hikes and bike or horseback rides, visit the nearby Grotta del Vento (Wind Cave) in Fornovolasco, and taste the specialities of Garfagnana cuisine on the occasion of the many feasts and festivals that take place in the neighbourhoods in summer. Lucca, Pisa, Versilia, Pistoia, Florence and other Tuscan cities of art are easily reached by car.

Provided with all comforts (Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, cot bed, electric oven, fridge with freezer, microwave oven, espresso and American style coffee maker, toaster, juicer, kettle, washing machine, dishwasher, hair dryer, iron, working fireplace and car park), the villa has been recently renovated and furnished with good taste and elegance in 18th and 19th century style.

The building is surrounded by a wide garden furnished with tables for eating al fresco; here are the swimming pool (10x5 m) and a solarium area furnished with sun loungers. The villa features also a loggia provided with the barbecue equipment. Inside the building are also sauna and a comfortable whirlpool bathtub.

The villa (4 double bedrooms + double sofa bed and 4 bathrooms) is a three-storey building of about 300 m² composed of fully equipped kitchen, two living rooms (one with fireplace and one with HD satellite TV and double sofa bed), dining room, veranda, sauna, room with whirlpool bathtub, two double-bedded rooms and two twin-bedded rooms. Each has an ensuite bathroom. The bathrooms are tiled in marble; two are with shower and bathtub and two with shower.
