Location
The luxurious villa is just a few kilometers from Montepulciano, the town in the province of Siena renowned all over the world for its famous Vino Nobile.
The legend goes that Montepulciano, which boasts Etruscan origins, was founded by Porsenna, the lucumo of Clusium (nowadays Chiusi). Like many other Tuscan towns, in the Middle Ages Montepulciano was involved in the struggle between Siena and Florence, and in 1390 formed an alliance with latter. After a period of economic and social crisis, Montepulciano flourished again when the Lorraine Grand Dukes reclaimed Valdichiana.
Montelpulciano is also the birthplace of several important figures in the history and literature of Italy, such the poet, humanist and playwright Angelo Ambrogini, also known as Poliziano, and Cardinal Bellarmino.
Description
A charming church welcomes guests next to the entrance to the villa.
Around the villa stretches a wide park divided into various areas: a holm-oak wood, a pine wood, an Italian garden and an English garden in which lies the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.40-1.60 m)
The barbecue equipment and a table with chairs are at guests' disposal for having meals al fresco.
The elegant 18th-century villa furnished with period furniture and antiques is an excellent accommodation for art and culture lovers, who can visit Montepulciano, Arezzo, Florence, Siena, Pienza and many other Tuscan tourist destinations. A tennis club, some thermal baths, a riding stable and a golf club are a few kilometers from the villa.

Five bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom.
