Location

The villa stands in panoramic position at an altitude of about 385 meters on the hills of Valdichiana, just a few kilometers from Chianciano Terme.

Chianciano Terme is one of the most famous thermal towns in Italy. The Etruscan and the Roman already knew the curative properties of the waters of Chianciano; and it was thanks to these two peoples that the village grew to an important town.
The first temples dedicated to the deities of the waters, including the temple of Fucoli, date back to the Etruscan Hellenistic period, whereas the thermal settlement of Mezzomiglio dates to Roman times. Several scholars identify Mezzomiglio with the "bagni chiusini" (Chiusi baths) mentioned by Quinto Orazio Flacco.


Description

The vacation villa with terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings is surrounded by a fully fenced wide garden with a private swimming pool (15x7 m; depth: 1.20-2.50 m) provided with an external shower, the barbecue equipment and two gazebos.
A pergola is furnished for having meals in the open air.

The villa is an excellent accommodation for those who want to spend pleasant vacations in the peaceful Tuscan countryside and at the same time want to visit the picturesque villages and towns of Valdichiana and Valdorcia: Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno and the Lake of Chiusi are easily reached by car.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-story building consisting of kitchen with fireplace, living room, dining room, laundry room, five double bedrooms (two of which have an ensuite bathroom), two more bathrooms and a half bathroom.
The bedroom on the ground floor has a direct access to the garden.

The villa is equipped with barbecue, working fireplace, oven, microwave oven, freezer, American-style coffee maker, toaster, juicer and private car parking place.
A maid service is available upon request.
Dinners at the villa with traditional Valdichiana dishes and tours of the nearby farms are organized upon request.

Shops and services of any kind are 3 kilometers from the villa.
The thermal baths of San Casciano dei Bagni and Chianciano Terme are within 20 kilometers of the property.
