Location The ancient farmhouse is part of a property situated on the hills of Valdelsa, a Tuscan region UNESCO declared a World Heritage site in 2004. Situated between Florence and Siena, Valdelsa is a region dotted with picturesque medieval villages, the most famous being Monteriggioni, San Gimignano - which is mainly renowned for its ancient towers and the Vernaccia, the white wine produced in the countryside around the town - and Colle Val d'Elsa. Description Located a few kilometers from Colle Val d'Elsa and San Gimignano, the farmhouse is the ideal lodging for those who would like to relax in the heart of the Tuscan countryside as well as to visit famous cities of art, such as Florence and Siena. Lucca, Arezzo, Volterra, the whole Chianti region and many other Tuscan tourist destinations are easily reached by car. A riding stable, a tennis club and a golf club are a few kilometers from the property. A large, fully fenced park surrounds the farmhouse. A dining area with a table, some chairs and the barbecue equipment is arranged in the garden. The private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.40-1.60 m) is exclusively reserved to guests. Accommodation The farmhouse is a two-story building divided into four apartments (three on the ground floor and one on the first floor) that is rented as a single unit. In total, the farmhouse composes of three kitchens, a living room with a double sofa bed, a large living room with kitchen corner and double sofa bed, four double bedrooms, four twin bedrooms and five bathrooms. The apartment on the first floor has a balcony that commands the park and the swimming pool. The four twin bedrooms can be converted into double bedrooms upon request. Facilities and Services The farmhouse is provided with barbecue, fireplace, oven, microwave oven and private car parking area. A cook and a domestic help are available upon request. A food shop is 1 kilometer from the farmhouses. Other shops and services of any kind are 3 kilometers from the property. A tennis club, a riding stable and a golf club are 7 kilometers from the estate.
