Location
The villa is situated in Castiglion Fiorentino, just a few kilometers south of Arezzo, on the hills of Arezzo Valdichiana.
Valdichiana is a region is south-eastern Tuscany that stretches in the provinces of Arezzo and Siena. Its marvelous hills are dotted with picturesque medieval villages and magnificent churches. Valdichiana is also rich in rivers, torrents, lakes and nature reserves, including the lake of Chiusi, in the Sienese part of the region.
Particularly renowned are Valdichiana gastronomic specialties - the excellent Chianina meat, the pecorino cheese and Sinalunga sliced meats -, the wines and the extra-virgin olive oil produced in this part of Tuscany.
Description
The villa is an ex-farmhouse dating from the late 19th century surrounded by a fully fenced garden in which are a wood-burning oven, the barbecue equipment, a children's playground consisting of a slide, a swing, a covered sandbox, mini football goals and a plastic playhouse, a gazebo, a table for having meals in the open air and the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.10-2.20 m) with external shower.
A tennis club, a riding stable and a golf club are within a few kilometers of the villa. Rapolano Terme thermal baths, Lake Trasimeno, Arezzo, Siena and many other Tuscan cities of art are easily reached by car.
Accommodation
The complex consists of a villa and an annexed cottage.
The villa is a two-story building composed of kitchen, living/dining room with fireplace and double sofa bed, two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
In the cottage are three single beds (two of which that can be united to form a double bed) and a bathroom with shower.
A supplementary single can added in of the bedrooms in the villa.
