Location The villa stands at an elevation of about 300 meters a few kilometers from Arezzo, a town in eastern Tuscany at the confluence of four valleys: Valdichiana, Val Tiberina, Casentino and Valdarno. Rich in monuments, churches and museums - including the Basilica of San Francesco, that houses the "Legend of the True Cross", the famous fresco cycle by Piero della Francesca, the Pieve of Santa Maria and the majestic Duomo dedicated to San Donato -, Arezzo is renowned also for the Giostra del Saracino, which takes place every year on the second last Saturday of June and on the first Sunday of September. Description The result of the renovation of a hamlet of houses, the villa is divided into four apartments connected through internal doors but is rented as a single unit. The building is part of a property situated atop a hill that enjoys splendid views of the town of Arezzo and the valley below. The property comprises also a 7th-century small church. The wide garden that surrounds the house is fully fenced. The private swimming pool (irregular form, 16x8 m; depth: 1.20-3 m) with whirlpool area is surrounded by a large solarium area equipped with a pergola. A dressing room with toilette, two showers and a kitchen corner are in a shed near the pool. The porch is equipped for having meals in the open air. Arezzo, Cortona, Florence, Siena, Anghiari and many other Tuscan cities of art are within easy driving distance. The owners of the villa live nearby and are glad to help their guests in case of need. Accommodation The villa is a two-story building consisting of four dining areas with kitchen corner, two living rooms (one with a fireplace), a storeroom, four double bedrooms and four bathrooms with shower. Facilities and Services The villa is equipped with external whirlpool area, dressing room with toilette and two showers, barbecue, fireplace, DVD player, oven, microwave oven, freezer, American-style coffee maker, toaster and private car parking place. A domestic help is available upon request. Wine, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and spirits tasting events are organized upon request. Shops and services of any kind are 8 kilometers from the property.
