Location The cozy villa stands at an altitude of about 330 meters on the hills that surround Monte San Savino. Monte San Savino is a town in Arezzo Valdichiana whose historic center is still surrounded by medieval walls. Inside the city walls are the 14th-century Palazzo pretorio decorated with the coats of arms of the ancient families of the town, the church of Sant'Agostino, which houses a painting by Giorgio Vasari, and the so-called Logge dei mercanti. The Sanctuary of Vertighe is about 2 kilometers from the town centers. Its bell tower is attributed to Sansovino. Description The cozy stone villa overlooking the hills of Valdichiana features traditional elements of rural architecture, such as terracotta-tiled floors, beamed ceilings and brick arches. The private swimming pool (14x7 m; depth: 1.20-2.40 m) a few dozen meters from the house is surrounded by a wide solarium area. The barbecue equipment and a wood-burning oven are at guests' disposal in an outbuilding situated in the wide terraced garden that surrounds the villa. The villa features also a beautiful panoramic terrace equipped for al fresco dining. Many Tuscan and central-Italy cities of art, including Arezzo, Siena, Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano, Perugia and Florence, are easily reached by car. Accommodation The villa is a two-story building composed of kitchen with fireplace and direct access to the panoramic terrace, dining room with fireplace, three living rooms (one with a double sofa bed), office, three double bedrooms (one with a private bathroom with bathtub), a twin bedroom with a private bathroom with shower, two more bathrooms with bathtub and a half bathroom. Facilities and Services The villa is provided with barbecue, wood-burning oven, fireplace, stereo system with CD player, oven, microwave oven, freezer, American-style coffee maker and private car parking place. A domestic help is available upon request. Dinners with Tuscan dishes and Tuscan cooking lessons can be organized upon request. Shops and services of any kind are 3 kilometers from the property.
