The 18th-century villa and the adjoining annexe apartment (12 beds in total) are situated in Valdichiana, just a few hundreds of metres from Cortona, an important town of Etruscan origins in the province of Arezzo. The building is immersed in the green olive groves characterising the hilly Tuscan landscape and is surrounded by a gorgeous garden, in which cypresses, mimosa and willow trees provide welcome shade to the guests who linger to admire the fascinating panorama. After a refreshing bath in the swimming pool situated on a lower level than the building, guests can bask in the sun in one of the three tiled and furnished terraces surrounding the villa or use the barbecue equipment and the wood-burning oven for preparing some tasty meals. During the day, guests can hike along the numerous trekking paths around the property, visit the spas in Chianciano Terme or organise one-day trips to Florence, San Gimignano, Pienza, Assisi, Perugia, Siena and Arezzo. With their terracotta-tiled floors, their beamed ceilings and their decorative archways, the large rooms are cosy and full of light. The interiors are elegant and furnished with exquisite taste. Both the main villa and the adjoining annexe apartment are provided with all comforts (satellite TV, heating system, dishwasher, washing machine, phone, Internet connection). The villa features also a solarium area accessible both from outside and inside the building.
