Location
The farmhouse stands at an altitude of about 350 meters in Valdichiana, near Lucignano, in the province of Arezzo.
Lucignano, which, like many Tuscan towns, was already inhabited in Etruscan times, owes its name to Lucio Licinio Lucullo, the Roman consul who built the castrum called Lucinianum right where today stands the small town.
Due to its strategic geographical position, in the course of the centuries Lucignano was the object of bloody conflicts between Siena, Arezzo and Perugia. The stronghold and the walls that still surround the burg date from the 14th century, whereas the fortress was built in the 16th century, when Florence conquered the town.
Every year Lucignano hosts many folkloric and food-and-wine events, including the "Maggiolata" (a spring festival during which floats decorated with flowers parade along the streets of Lucignano), "Calici di stelle" (a food-and-wine tasting event taking place on August 10th, the night of falling stars) and the "Festa dell'olio nuovo" (a festival dedicated to the lately produced olive oil).
Description
The complex consisting of a farmhouse and two annexes is the ideal accommodation for those who are dreaming of relaxing vacations in the peaceful Tuscan countryside.
A few kilometers from the estate are a golf club, a riding stable, a tennis club and Rapolano Terme thermal baths. Many Tuscan tourist destinations, including Arezzo, Sansepolcro, Caprese Michelangelo, Siena, Anghiari and Florence, are within easy driving distance.
The 4-hectare park that surrounds the buildings includes a vineyard, an olive grove, a poplar-and-oak wood and a wide garden furnished with table and chairs for guests to have their meals al fresco.
In the garden are also a wood-burning oven, the barbecue equipment, a swing, a small roundabout and the private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.00-1.50 m). The pool side is furnished with sun loungers and sunshades.
Accommodation
The complex composes of the main building and two annexes (a large and a small one), which are divided into four independent apartments. In total the complex has three kitchens (one with a double sofa bed), a living room with kitchen and a double sofa bed, a second living room with a double sofa bed, five double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, four bathrooms and a half bathroom with shower.
The porch of the main building is furnished for having meals al fresco.

A cook and a maid service are available upon request.
