Location The small vacation villa is located at an altitude of about 750 meters on the hills of Valdichiana, a few kilometers from Cortona. Cortona is a charming town of Etruscan origins, as the many archaeological finds housed in the local Museum of Etruscan Civilization and the tombs in the Archaelogical Park of Sodo demonstrate. Piazza Garibaldi, in south-eastern Cortona, affords magnificent views of Valdichiana and up to Lake Trasimeno, Montepulciano and, in the clearest days, Mount Amiata. Every year Cortona hosts many folkloric and cultural events, including the Joust of Archidado, the international photography festival Cortona on the Move and Choco Cortona. Description The small villa is an excellent lodging for those who dream of relaxing vacations in the peaceful Tuscan countryside and at the same time wish to visit some of the main cities of art of the region: Arezzo, Siena, Pienza, Florence and Montepulciano are within easy driving distance. The private swimming pool (irregular form; depth: 2.40 m) lies in the garden that surrounds the house, which is furnished with deck chairs and sun loungers. A covered veranda is equipped with barbecue, table and chairs for having meals in the open air. Accommodation The villa is a two-storey building consisting of a living area with fireplace, kitchen corner and dining table, a reading corner, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms with shower (one with hydromassage and steam bath). The double bedroom has a direct access to a covered balcony. Facilities and Services The villa is provided with barbecue, fireplace, oven, freezer, iron and ironing board, whirlpool shower, steam bath and private parking space. Dinners with traditional Tuscan dishes can be organized at the property upon request. Some food shops are 4 kilometers from the property. Other shops and services of any kind are 13 kilometers from the villa.
