Location The villa stands at an altitude of about 420 meters on the hills between Florence and Siena, in the Chianti region, near the two small towns of Montespertoli and Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa. A charming town just a few dozen kilometers from Florence historic center, Tavarnelle in Val di Pesa is a municipality composed of the three small villages of Tavarnelle, Borghetto and Mocale. The church of San Pietro in Bossolo and the former Franciscan monastery of Borghetto are among the most interesting buildings in Tavarnelle; however the most famous monument in the municipality is certainly the 11th-century monastic complex of Badia a Passignano. Description A stay at the villa is an excellent occasion for visiting the whole Chianti region, Siena, Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa and many other Tuscan cities of art and tourist destinations. The villa, which in origin was a barn, features an outdoor space on two levels. The private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.50 m), the veranda furnished for having meals al fresco and the barbecue equipment are on the lower level, whereas a beautiful meadow is on the upper one. The rooms of the two-story building are furnished in Tuscan traditional style. Both stories are accessed from the outside. Accommodation The villa consists of dining area with kitchen corner, living room with double sofa bed and fireplace, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower. Facilities and Services The villa is equipped with barbecue, fireplace, oven, microwave oven, wood-burning oven, freezer and private car parking space. A domestic help is supplied upon request. A restaurant and a pizzeria are 900 meters from the villa. Some food shops are 2 kilometers from the property. Other shops and services of any kind are 8.5 kilometers from the villa.
