Location

The villa stands about 200 meters above sea level and is situated in Montaione (Florence), in Valdelsa.
The town of Montaione is located in an area rich in Etruscan and Roman settlements. In the origin controlled by San Miniato, in 1390 Montaione was conquered by Florence.
The town, in the past famous for the production of glass items, organizes every year many feasts; in particular, at the end of October along the streets of Montaione historic center is held the festival of the truffle and chestnut.


Description

The buildings of the complex are surrounded by a wide park divided into a pinewood and a botanic garden, equipped with some children`s toys, the private swimming pool (5x10 m; depth: 0.80-2.00) and the barbecue equipment, as well as tables and chairs for having meals al fresco.
The apartments are furnished in the traditional Tuscan rustic style.

A tennis club, a riding stable, a golf club and the spas of Gambassi Terme are within a few kilometers of the villa.


Accommodation

The complex offers 17+2 beds in two independent cottages and three apartments.

The villa composes of five kitchens, two living rooms (one with a double sofa bed), eight bedrooms of different typologies and five bathrooms (one with a whirlpool shower).
Each apartment has a private outdoor corner for guests to have meals in the open air.

The villa is equipped with barbecue, slide, table-tennis table, swing, working fireplace, whirlpool shower, electric oven, toaster, espresso coffee maker, American-style coffee maker, private car parking.
Some Tuscan cooking lessons and Italian lessons can be arranged upon request.
A maid service is available upon request.

A food shop and a restaurant are within 500 meters of the villa.
Shops and services of any kind are in Montaione, 1 kilometer from the complex.
A riding stable, some tennis courts and a golf club are within 6 kilometers of the estate.
