Location

The villa stands at an elevation of about 260 meters on the hills between Florence and San Gimignano, near Montespertoli.

Over the centuries the most important Florentine aristocratic families had their imposing castles and elegant villas built in the countryside around Montespertoli. The castle of Montegufoni, which belongs to the Acciaiolis, is still to be admired along via Volterrana - the road to Volterra -, whereas the castle of Sonnino is located at the beginning of the town. The latter belonged to the Machiavelli family for centuries.


Description

The cozy portion of a farmhouse is an excellent accommodation for having relaxing vacations immersed in the peaceful Tuscan countryside but also for visiting the whole Chianti region as well as many cities of art, including Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, Pisa and Lucca.

The villa is surrounded by a wide garden that affords wonderful views of the Tuscan countryside.
The garden features a masonry barbecue and is equipped with a gazebo and a table with chairs for dining in the open air.
The private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.30 m) lies a few dozen meters from the house and is equipped with an outdoor shower.


Accommodation

The villa is a three-story building consisting of living room with kitchen corner, dining area and fireplace, three double bedrooms (one with a private bathroom with shower) and a second bathroom with shower.

The villa is equipped with outdoor shower, masonry barbecue, fireplace, TV set, DVD player, oven, microwave oven, freezer, American-style coffee maker, toaster and private car parking place.
A domestic help available upon request.
