The luxurious 17th-century villa (sleeping 12/16) stands 150 meters above sea level in Impruneta, in Florentine Chianti, just a few kilometers from the monuments of Florence historic center.
Impruneta is a small town in the province of Florence renowned mainly for the production of terracotta, but also for the beautiful sanctuary dedicated to Santa Maria a Impruneta, dating from the second half of the 11th century. On the last Sunday of September in Impruneta takes place the traditional festival of the grape harvest, whereas at the mid of October it hosts the fair of San Luca, the patron saint of Impruneta.
Around the villa wind many paths for guests to have wonderful walks and bike rides in the Florentine Chianti countryside. A few kilometers from the estate are also some tennis courts, a riding stable, a golf club and some football and five-a-side football pitches.
Many important Tuscan tourist destinations, including Arezzo, Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, Volterra and Pisa, are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips.
The elegant 17th-century three-story building is surrounded by a wide garden rich in century-old trees. Here are a barbecue with wood-burning oven and a pergola for having meals in the open air.
The private swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 1.20-2.00 m) that lies about 10 meters from the villa is exclusively reserved to guests. The pool side is furnished with sunshades, sun loungers and a gazebo with table and chairs.
