The villa (sleeping 13) stands in panoramic position 330 meters above sea level in Valdarno, about 30 kilometers from Florence, in Reggello. The villa enjoys a gorgeous view over the Chianti hills and the valley of the Arno River and is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards for the production of extra-virgin olive oil, DOCG Chianti wine, Grappa and Vin Santo. The 25-hectare estate is located in a protected game restocking area.

The elegant building has been lately renovated with an eye to preserving the original structure and atmosphere. Equipped with all comforts (barbecue, bicycles, table-tennis table, fans, working fireplace, Internet connection, satellite TV, DVD player, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, cot bed and high chair and private car parking place), the villa is furnished in rustic style and with period items. Like many Tuscan country houses, the villa features stone walls and beamed ceilings. Moreover, it is an excellent location for weddings and ceremonies. A cook and maid, baby-sitting and breakfast services are available upon request.

The private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 0.80-2.50 m) lies in the 10,000-square-meter panoramic garden. In the OLD BARN, a 50-square-meter building, guests can attend painting, ceramics and yoga lessons. In the garden are also a table and some chairs for guests to have their meals al fresco.

During their stay at the villa, guests can devote to many activities: apart from having pleasant walks and bike rides along the paths that stretch around the property, they can visit the Abbey of Vallombrosa, the Pieve di San Pietro and the Pieve a Pitiana; shopaholics can purchase high fashion items at keen prices in the big outlet village a few kilometers from the villa, whereas sporty guests can visit the tennis club and the riding stable in proximity to the villa.
