The portion of a farmhouse (sleeping 6) stands 400 meters above sea level in Empoli countryside, in Montespertoli (Florence), at the border with Chianti.
On the gentle hills that surround Montespertoli, which in the past belonged also to the Machiavelli family, stand many medieval churches, including the church of San Jacopo in Voltigliano, which the Ghibellines destroyed after the battle of Montaperti. The church was then re-built in the 15th century. In Montespertoli there is also an interesting museum of sacred art.
Between a visit in Montelupo, Certaldo, Empoli or Vinci and a one-day trip to Florence, those who like food-and-wine tourism can devote to Chianti wine tasting in one of the many farms in proximity to the villa.
A riding stable, a golf club and a tennis club are within 10 kilometers of the villa.

In the 1,800-square-meter that surrounds the building lies the private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.20-2.20 m), furnished with sunshades and sun loungers.
The barbecue equipment and a table with chairs for having meals al fresco are at guests` disposal in the garden.

The house (1 double bedroom, 1 quadruple bedroom, 1 bathroom and 1 half bathroom) is on two floors and composes of kitchen, living area, storeroom, a double bedroom, a bedroom with double bed and bunk bed, a bathroom with whirlpool bath and a half bathroom.
